At-Home Facial Kit: How to Give Yourself a Spa-Style Facial

Clients often ask me how to keep their skin looking the way it does when they leave my spa. My answer is an at-home facial kit that uses the same dermocosmetic-grade serums I use in my practice, in the same order. Here is what is in it and how to use it.

What Is in My At-Home Facial Kit?

The Facial Kit for Glowing Skin has six products, all formulated by me:

• Optimum Repair Serum (15 ml)

• DMAE 20% Serum (15 ml)

• Vitamin C Serum (15 ml)

• Collagen HP Serum (15 ml)

• High Performance Moisturizer (30 ml)

• Osmotic Peptide Patch Masks, seven airless sachets. Each sachet gives two home applications, 14 in all.

 How to Use an At-Home Facial Kit, Step by Step?

1. Cleanse. Start on clean, dry skin.

2. Optimum Repair Serum. Massage upward from the collarbone, across the neck and face.

3. DMAE 20% Serum. Same upward movement.

4. Vitamin C Serum. Layer it over the first two.

5. Collagen HP Serum. Pat gently into the skin.

6. Osmotic Patch Mask. Leave on for 6 to 8 minutes, massage gently, then blot. Do not rinse.

7. Moisturizer. Finish with the High Performance Moisturizer.

 How Often?

I recommend twice a week, or whenever your skin looks tired or dull.

What I Do Differently in My Practice

In my treatment room, every facial includes a 20-minute lymphatic facial massage. For me that is a must. I also like to begin with the osmotic mask: think of dry skin as a dry sponge, which takes in what comes next far more easily once it is moistened. At home you do not need to change anything. Follow the steps on the box and the products will do their job.

What to Expect?

My serums absorb right away, so the layers never feel heavy. With consistent use, skin looks brighter and more even, feels smoother, and has a firmer, well-hydrated look. Give it two to four weeks before you judge the results.

Tips for the Best Results

• Keep the order. Each layer prepares the skin for the next.

• Be consistent. A facial once in a while will not show what the kit can do.

• Wear sunscreen every day.
